Cavaliers, Nuggets, Bulls Interested in Zach Randolph
We’ve heard there are several teams keeping a close eye on Randolph, including the Denver Nuggets, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Nuggets have an obvious need for a low-post scorer and it’s gotten so obvious that even the players seem to be begging the organization to get one. The Rocky Mountain News, however, says the team doesn’t have the finances to afford one right now. Zach’s contract is a hefty one — three years and $48 million left — and it would be a complicated deal for the Knicks to make a one-for-one with Denver, even with their trade exception.
Randolph says his agent keeps him up on any trade talk, but he admitted he does look at other teams around the NBA and consider how he could fit into different lineups.
“Hell yeah," he said. "There are a lot of situations out there . . . Whatever do happen, I’m going to be ready.”
