Monta Ellis to Return During Thanksgiving Week?

Injured guard Monta Ellis had the screws in his surgically-repaired left ankle removed Wednesday in Birmingham, Ala., and is expected to rejoin the Warriors after next week’s East Coast swing. Team officials did not set a date for a return to basketball-related activity, though Ellis’ agent, Jeff Fried, has said he anticipated a Thanksgiving week start.
