Oklahoma Thunder Deliver Krstic Offer Sheet by Hand
Struggling teams like to move quickly to get their roster together, but this is … well, different.
Oklahoma City, as everyone knows, signed Nenad Krstic offer sheet Monday, and it was incumbent upon the Thunder to have the document sent to the Nets for their review.
Only the team didn’t overnight-mail it to New Jersey, as most teams would.
"They sent a guy on a plane to hand-deliver it," Rod Thorn explained, with some amusement. "I’m sure that’s been done before, but I really can’t think of another time. I guess they were in a hurry."
