Could Eddy Curry Be Done for Season after Death of His Child’s Mother?
Eddy Curry wasn’t at the Knicks’ pre-game shootaround Monday morning and it isn’t likely he’ll be at Monday night’s game against Houston.
No surprise there, for the Knicks’ beleaguered big man has bigger issues in his life in the wake of the apparent murder of the mother of his 3-year-old son Noah, Nova Henry.
And unlike Isiah Thomas, who after the death of Stephon Marbury’s father last season almost daily launched a five-minute-long soliloquy about giving Marbury "all the time he needs," Mike D’Antoni was rather indefinite about Curry’s immediate future _ which could involve a trip to Chicago.
That said, the Knicks soon will have to deal with what’s a secondary issue for the moment: Does Eddy play again this season?
