Bulls Move Larry Hughes to Inactive List
After 10 straight "Did Not Play—Coach’s Decision" designations, the Bulls and Hughes took the next logical step in their mutual desire to move Hughes elsewhere when they made the veteran guard inactive.
"It’s just something Larry wanted to do," coach Vinny Del Negro said. "Larry has been great. But right now the rotation is what the rotation is."
It won’t change either, which is why it’s possible Hughes could be sent home or made inactive for the remainder of the season if no trade is found before the Feb. 19 deadline.
"I think something should break," Hughes said. "At this point, everybody knows I’m not injured."
