HoopsVibe’s Very Quick Call: April Fools Day is not good for NBA rookies.

The league’s freshmen are already vulnerable enough; having to fetch doughnuts, carry bags, and often embarrass themselves every day of the long season.

Their more tenured peers have less shame on the first of April. Take the Miami Heat. They pulled the classic stop-and-go, letting rookie Dexter Pittman lead warm ups all by himself.

Veterans Mike Bibby, Eddie House, James Jones, and even highly respected Zydrunas Ilgauskas were amused, while Pittman was, well, not so impressed.
