HoopsVibe's Very Quick Call: This isn't Vinny Chase and Entourage.

Talented power forward Zach Randolph lives with childhood friends in every city he plays, and these friends, known as The Hoop Posse, have a reputation for causing and/or finding trouble.

For instance, The Hoop Posse were the reason fans dubbed Portland the Jail Blazers. Local police likely had Randolph's home on speed dial.

There was a drug charge in Indianapolis last summer -even though Randolph had changed teams several times and was now with the Grizzlies.

Now reports have surfaced that police are investigating a drug related assault at Randolph's Memphis home. Z-Bo wasn't involved, but was home when the incident allegedly happened.

To be fair, Randolph has been a model citizen for the Grizzlies. He has led on-and-off court, and signed a four-year, $60 million extension in April.

Unfortunately, Randolph is followed by The Hoop Posse. So trouble is never far away.
