“To be on the other side, they call it the dark side, or the villain, whatever they call it, it was definitely challenging for myself,” he said in an interview with ESPN. “It basically turned me into somebody I wasn’t. Me, personally, I’m not that guy.”
HoopsVibe’s Very Quick Call: He doesn’t like the consequences. But will he change his behaviour?
In a recent interview LeBron James told ESPN he didn’t enjoy being the bad guy or villain of the 2011 season.
However, James must accept responsibility. He and his people held The Decision, dumping his home-state Cleveland Cavaliers on national television.
And James got on stage and declared that the Heat would win multiple championships before the team had even held a practice.
So it’s hardly a surprise fans, media, and even some peers turned on him.
