Bosh Out Indefinitely
Chris Bosh is out. Can Heat survive?
HoopsVibe Very Quick Call: LeBron James may have to wait another year.
The Miami heat are reporting that Chris Bosh is out for the series and possibly the season following his game 1 injury Sunday afternoon. Believe it or not, the Heat are actually better statistically without Bosh on the floor during the regular season against the Pacers. The Heat actually allowed almost 16 more points per 100 possessions with Bosh on the floor against the Pacers than without him. The duo of Wade and James on the floor also outscores the trio of Wade, Bosh, and James during the regular season by 25 points per 100 possessions. These statistics are surprising, but revealing. Perhaps, the trio still doesn't have a way of working together outside of giving each other time to rest. The duo of James and Wade are statistically the best bet, but Bosh in the mix is a critical weapon as the Heat advance deeper into the playoffs.
It may be true that the Heat are able to beat Indiana without Bosh on the floor. Yet, it is difficult to seeing LeBron James winning his first championship ring without Bosh available to play. The real question is when will Chris Bosh return?
