HoopsVibe's Very Quick Call: This is no Dalai Lama like Sh*t.
Kobe Breaks down his personal philosophy for Hoopsvibe.
“I don’t give a [expletive] what you say, If I go out there and miss game winners, and people say, ‘Kobe choked, or Kobe is seven for whatever in pressure situations.’ Well, [expletive] you.
“Because I don’t play for your [expletive] approval. I play for my own love and enjoyment of the game. And to win. That’s what I play for. Most of the time, when guys feel the pressure, they’re worried about what people might say about them. I don’t have that fear, and it enables me to forget bad plays and to take shots and play my game.” – Kobe Bryant
Ok we will admit, it wasn't the deepest personal philosophy we've ever heard, but it has a certain ring to it. Although, we tend to believe Kobe actually cares quite a bit about what others say. That's why he paid his wife 10 Bazillion dollars to keep quite and not talk about his infidelity and that's why he always dresses like he's auditioning for the cover of GQ Magazine. Cool philosophy Kobester, but we think the most philosophy you know has to do with a triangle offense and Phil Jackson quotes.
