Report: Dennis Rodman Still Likes To Drink, Play Basketball
Who knew? According to two seperate reports, NBA Hall of Famer and five time champ Dennis Rodman likes to drink until the following morning, and still enjoys playing basketball.
HoopsVibe Very Quick Call: DUH.
Rodman will lead a team of former NBA players into the Malaysian jungle to face the Westport Dragons. The previous sentence would have been even better than the plot of the Rodman/Van Damme thriller Double Team.
Rodman's team will consist of Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, Jason WIlliams, Vernon Maxwell, JR Reid, and Mitch Richmond and will be coach by legendary Evin Hayes. The team will play in Kuala Lumpur on July 17th then in Manila (7-18) and Kaohsiung (7-21). It's too bad Rodman and his team of former NBA studs will only be touring in Malaysia.
According to documents filed by Rodman's ex-wife in court, sometime in May Rodman showed up at her house at 2:30 in the morning and offered to take his ex and his 11 year old son to breakfast. "Michelle said Dennis attacked her when she refused, shoving her onto a bed, then took off, only to return hours later, still intoxicated, asking to take their son to breakfast. Michelle obliged ... on the condition she came with [them]."
At breakfast, his ex claims Rodman "took between 4-6 shots of jager in front of their son."
Personally, I don't see what the big deal is- if you have kids, you'd understand that 4-6 shots at breakfast is the absolute minimum you need to maintain sanity and sharpen your parenting ability. Additionally, I want to eat breakfast where "The Worm" eats breakfast, it sounds awesome.
