Kobe Fires Back In Dream Team Debate
Kobe Bryant fires back in Dream Team debate.
HoopsVibe's Very Quick Call: Keep dreaming Kobe. Keep dreaming. You better just hope you win the gold.
After Kobe's bold statement that the 2012 U.S. Olympic team could beat the 1992 Dream Team in a basketball game a number of sports analysts (including HoopsVibe) showed how the 1992 team is actually better. ESPN even put together a high tech computer program that somehow proved what every sane basketball fan already knew, that the 1992 team was far superior.
Note, when Jordan, Barkley, and Pippen heard Kobe's remarks they all reportedly laughed themselves silly. No one really took Kobe serious, but Kobe's not backing down. He'd redoubled his statements and again claims the 2012 team would beat the 1992 team.
Kobe again stated, "People who think we can't beat that team for one game, they're crazy. To sit there and say we can't, it's ludicrous."
Kobe went on to point out some of the Dream Teams mistakes. "They got beaten by a college select team once. Doesn't mean we're a better team than them, but s***, we can beat them one time."
Looks like this debate will continue to rage on, at least in Kobe's mind.
