Top 3 Players Most LIkely To Be Traded Before Feb 21st Trade Deadline.
Top 3 players most likely to be traded before the February 21st trade deadline.
HoopsVibe's Very Quick Call: It's the season of last second trades as the NBA trade deadline fast approaches and here are three player you will likely see switch uniforms before it's all over.
1. Paul Millsap: The first player with a ton of trade rumors around them is Paul Millsap of the Utah Jazz. Millsap is a 6 foot 8 inch power forward making $8.6 million a year. He's a dependable player and is averaging 14.9 PPG and 7.4 RPG on the season that a number of teams would love to get their hands on and the Jazz simply can't afford if they are going to make re-signing Al Jefferson their priority. One of the teams said to be highly interested in acquiring Millsap is the San Antonio Spurs.
2. J.J. Redick: The Milwaukee Bucks want J.J. Redick. The only possible snag in the deal is the Bucks want Redick to commit to re-sign for a long-term deal. In exchange the Magic are rumored to want a future first-round draft pick and at least one player on Milwaukee's current roster with an expiring contract. This could mean Samuel Dalembert, Brandon Jennings, or Monte Ellis.
3. Josh Smith: Nets are reportedly hungry to acquire Josh Smith from the Atlanta Hawks. This would be a huge addition to Brooklyn, but they'll have to give up some goodies in the process. Brooklyn is rumored to be willing to give up Kris Humphries and second-year shooting guard MarShon Brooks for Smith, but Atlanta also wants Brooklyn's first-round pick. It will be interesting to see if this deal gets made. The Nets appear very aggressive and have made Smith their #1 priority.
