Kevin Durant may be tall and lengthy, but the dude still has ridiculous handles.
Hoopsvibe's quick call: Vince Carter probably needed to ice his ankles this weekend after Kevin Durant broke them.
Kevin Durant was pretty much built for the game of basketball. He's is just an all around baller. I almost feel like he's an extremely athletic version of Larry Bird.
At six feet nine inches tall and with the ability to play any position on the floor, the Durantula is virtually unstoppable. He can play down low or on the perimeter. He'll post up on one possession, then pull up from three on another. But he's not just a set shooter; he can drain mid range jump shots off the dribble with abnormal ease.
This season, Durant is averaging 28.3 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. He, much like his friend and competitor Lebron James, contributes in every facet of the game.
You get the point.
Anyway, KD showed off some of his crazy handles on Sunday, when he shook veteran baller Vince Carter to the point where Carter fell over. Durant then took a step back jumpshot, which thankfully for Carter, Durant missed, because if he had made the shot, Vincanity would've been all over highlight reels falling over/getting his ankles broken by KD.
The Thunder went on to beat the Mavs 107-101, and Durant finished with 31 points, 19 of which came in the 4th quarter alone.
