Trail Blazers place Patterson on IL

Portland, OR (Sports Network) - The Portland Trail Blazers placed forward
Ruben Patterson on the injured list Wednesday with left Achilles' tendinitis.
The 28-year-old Patterson is expected to be out of action for two weeks. In three games this season, Patterson is averaging 7.3 points. The six-year veteran spent the previous two seasons with the Trail Blazers. He owns a career scoring average of 10.4 points per game in six seasons with Portland, Seattle and the Lakers. POR |
