Houston misses second straight game

Dec 10th, 2003
Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - New York Knicks guard Allan Houston did not dress in Tuesday's 98-90 setback to the Los Angeles Lakers due to an ailing right knee.

Houston, who holds a team-best 19.6 points-per-game average, did not play for the second consecutive game. He also missed Sunday's loss against Golden State.

After he had off-season surgery on the knee, it has bothered him since a collision in a game versus Indiana a few weeks ago.

The All-Star's playing status for New York's contest versus Utah on Wednesday is questionable.

Shandon Anderson started in place of Houston for the Knicks, who have dropped five straight games, and posted 26 points in a losing cause.
