=== Washington Wizards Team Report - March 18 ===

(Sports Network) - Kwame Brown established career highs with 30 points and 19 rebounds as the Washington Wizards toppled the Sacramento Kings, 114-108, on Wednesday at the MCI Center.

Brown was 12-of-16 from the field and Gilbert Arenas finished with 27 points, 10 assists and a career-high eight steals, as the Wizards snapped a season- long seven-game skid. Jerry Stackhouse recorded 21 points and seven assists off the bench for Washington, which also ended a three-game slide against Sacramento.

The Wizards led by nine, 100-91, with less than five minutes to go, but Sacramento tallied 12 of the next 17 points in a three-minute span to draw within two.

Mitchell Butler and Etan Thomas answered with back-to-back buckets to give Washington some more breathing room at 109-103 with a minute to play.

Sacramento could only trim the margin down by one point the rest of the way as the Wizards made a few free throws to hold on for the win.

The Wizards are off until Friday when they host the Atlanta Hawks. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. The Wizards are 1-2 against the Hawks.

Brown has averaged 25.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in his last two games.
