New York, NY (Sports Network) - The NBA has entered into a new five-year collective bargaining agreement with the National Basketball Referees Association (NBRA), thus eliminating the possibility of having replacement officials work the upcoming season.

The new agreement, which runs through the 2008-09 campaign, was ratified by the NBA Board of Governors and by the referees.

The league's staff of 62 officials will begin training camp on Sunday, October 3 in Jersey City, New Jersey.
