Sonics' Potapenko out six weeks

Potapenko is expected to be sidelined six weeks with a broken right hand.
The 6-foot-10 Ukrainian suffered the injury in Friday night's exhibition game against the Portland Trail Blazers. He is not expected to need surgery and will be evaluated again in a week. A nine-year veteran, Potapenko averaged 7.1 points and 4.4 rebounds in 65 games last season with the Sonics. SEA |
