(Sports Network) - The Heat posted a 107-100 win over the Denver Nuggets on Friday evening at American Airlines Arena.

Shaquille O'Neal had 20 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks and Dwyane Wade led all scorers with 25 points in the contest.

Eddie Jones contributed 16 points, seven rebounds and four steals for the Heat, who have won a season-best seven straight games to improve to 18-7. Miami is 9-3 at American Airlines Arena this season.\

Damon Jones hit two free throws to give the Heat a 102-85 lead with 4:12 remaining in the game.

But Denver refused to die in the fourth quarter. Earl Boykins nailed a three- pointer to cap a 15-3 run that pulled Denver within five at 105-100 with 34 seconds left.

But Wade made one-of-two free throws to put Miami up 106-100 with 32 seconds left, and the Nuggets did not score again.

Miami has a day off before returning to the court against the Orlando Magic on Sunday evening.
