(Sports Network) - Will Allen Iverson still be a Philadelphia 76er when the 2006-07 campaign begins?

The Sixers finished 38-44 during the 2005-06 season and did not qualify for the postseason. This is a very important offseason for team president Billy King and the franchise.

Who the Sixers select with the 13th overall pick in the 2006 draft should provide some hints as to how King will proceed during the critical offseason.

Iverson, 31, led the Sixers in scoring (33.0 ppg) and assists (7.4 apg), while veteran forward Chris Webber averaged 20.2 points and 9.9 rebounds in 75 games.

A former MVP and seven-time All-Star Iverson will be shopped around this offseason and the team would probably want to acquire some draft picks in a potential deal. In fact, it would not be surprising if the dynamic guard's name is the subject of trade rumors on draft night. Iverson's days in Philly are probably numbered.

Andre Iguodala continued to impress in his second year in the league. The former first-round pick averaged 12.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists. The athletic and versatile Iguodala, who can play shooting guard or small forward, is the one player Philadelphia would like to keep.

Center Samuel Dalembert, who signed a lucrative, multi-year contract last offseason, had a disappointing 2005-06 campaign, while sharp-shooting Kyle Korver is a liability on defense. The team hopes guard Willie Green, who played just 10 games last season because of a knee injury which he suffered in the summer of 2005, will continue to develop into a productive player.

Philadelphia should be able to get a player that can help with the 13th overall pick. Cedric Simmons of North Carolina State and Memphis' Shawne Williams are two players that the Sixers may be targeting.

Connecticut point guard Marcus Williams could be slipping and would be very tough to pass on. Marcus Williams would be a nice player to start the re- building process with.
