Davis matched Jason Kidd for most assists in an NBA game this season.

Mickael Pietrus scored 26 points while Jason Richardson added 16 points for the Warriors, who have won four straight games. Monta Ellis netted 17 while Andris Biedrins tied a career-high with 16 rebounds.

Kevin Martin poured in 26 points and Ron Artest donated 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Kings, who had a four-game winning streak come to an end. Mike Bibby had 13 points and seven assists for Sacramento, which was just 1- for-17 from beyond the arc.

Sacramento coach Eric Musselman returned to Golden State for the first time since coaching the team for two seasons. From 2002-2004, Musselman guided the Warriors to a 75-89 record.

Trailing 65-53, Sacramento scored eight of the first 12 points of the third quarter, capped by Artest's jumper, to pull within 69-61.

However, the Warriors tallied nine of the next 13 points, highlighted by Davis' trey, to extend the margin to 78-65.

A pair of Martin free throws narrowed the gap to single digits, 84-75, but Golden State went on an 8-3 surge, capped by Davis' finger roll, for a 92-78 lead. The Warriors held a 92-80 advantage heading into the final frame.

After Corliss Williamson drained a pair at the charity stripe to cut the deficit to 95-88, Golden State went on a 17-7 run, including treys from Mike Dunleavy and Davis, upping the score to 112-95 with just over three minutes remaining.

Golden State jumped out to a 15-4 lead, including four points apiece from Pietrus and Davis. The Warriors led 40-28 after the opening 12 minutes.
