Judge Orders Siohvaughn Wade to Jail

Bad went to worse for Siohvaughn Wade when Dwyane started seeing Gabrielle Union, and today things just got even worserer. After failing to show in court this morning for the ongoing custody case between her and estranged husband Dwyane, Judge Marya Nega gave her until the afternoon to either appear or face time in jail. Guess what: She never materialized. When the deadline came and went and she remained a no-show, the judge followed through on her threat and ordered the Cook County Sheriff’s Department to take Siohvaughn Wade into custody.

Apparently this isn’t the first time Siohvaughn Wade has caused problems in the courtroom. Nega’s comments suggest, in fact, that Dwyane’s childhood sweetheart has made it a habit of showing up missing when she was unhappy with the course of affairs:

"When things don’t go according to Mrs. Wade’s way all of a sudden the phone’s turned off."

Siohvaughn will have to post $10,000 bond to be released when she’s taken into custody. While she may not have too much trouble finding the money, she may be without her children when released. Over to Judge Nega again:

"Maybe it’s time for the kids to go live with Dad for a month or two."

It turns out that Siohvaughn, who last week filed a curious lawsuit against Gabrielle Union, may not have upheld her side of the current custody agreement, failing to follow up on her requirement to ensure that the boys speak to Dwyane every day. According to Dwyane’s lawyer, she even once called the police on Dwyane when he showed up to their Miami home to pick up the children, falsely informing the authorities that there were warrants for his arrest.
