Stay quiet, my friend. Please. I hope someone is telling you this.
Recently word spread like Southern California wildfires when you uttered the phrase, “I love New York.” At first glance, I can see how someone can misinterpret that as loving the now defunct “I Love New York” show on VH1. If anyone loves that show, they have issues. Anyway, getting back to the subject, you said this during the “More Than a Game” promotional film tour. Thanks to Sports Rev.TV for capturing the whole thing.
You’re all over the place shouting “New York! New York!” I don’t see a problem with it. There shouldn’t be a problem with that. Anyone can love New York, San Francisco, Idaho, Texas, Los Angeles, and even Cleveland. Then again, you were just interviewed about possibly ending up in New York next summer. What a way to alienate the state of Ohio, Lebron. The Chosen One can’t be that stupid to be shouting that type of stuff around the good ol’ U.S. of A now is he? Where is your publicist? Where is the agent? Please advise him to shut up for his benefit. There is no need to rep more love for NY since we already know that you’re in a New York state of mind. This leaves us wondering how the Cleveland fan base feels when you’re running around shouting these things. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that they’re probably feeling awkward and inadequate.
Looking for attention? Lebron, you’re better than that. There’s no need to seek any more attention. First, you say that you’re staying in Cleveland to win a title. Then you were spotted wearing a New York Yankees cap. Then you go back again stating that Cleveland is your home at a book signing. After that, you pull this stunt. Which is it? Is this the part where we get to see a recurring pattern? What part of the game is this? I hate to say it, but you are just as bad as John Madden’s favorite son, Brett Favre. Is this your way of telling NY to get hyped? There is a fix to end all this madness: Keep that mouth closed, okay? Thanks. Focus on actually winning a title and improving your defense. We know you’re uber awesome. You love New York. We get it. No need to give the fans the roundabout.
Sincerely,
P.S. At this point, no one should really care where you end up after the 2009-2010 season. You can end up in Moscow. Would you make a huge splash there? Yes. More Russian bears will attend the games. It’s not all Lebron’s fault though. Every time he mentions something or runs around conducting business, people will get into his face posing the free agency question. Other sites will run whatever he says as the headline like it’s going to change everyone else’s lives. It will not do such a thing. Stop it. Get help. The time for speculation is done. Let’s wait to see the outcome of this season and see if he was really “chosen” to win a title with Cleveland.
Since Knicks and Lakers fans want him so bad, pop in NBA 2K10 and trade for him. It’s that easy. [image: http://www.flickr.com/photos/yourfavoritemartian/3850962622/]

Why do people hate so much in comments? I thought this was an interesting article. Articles are too short though, how is this supposed to distract me from studying? .

Comment on the article, quit dissin the writer. I don’t think we should take his words so literally. Ask anyone you know who has been to New York... 90% of people would say they love it. 90 % would say they love LA. Ohio is his home, so he will continue to defend that until a different contract is signed. I vote that he leaves, so the media can have a hayday with it. It can be pretty ridiculous how many conspiracy theories the media comes up with, just to boost ratings and rumors. .
