Los Angeles, CA (Basketball News) - Sam Cassell scored 16 points to lead the Los Angles Clippers past the Dallas Mavericks, 95-80, in preseason action on Wednesday.

Cuttino Mobley added 12 points and Walter McCarty scored 11 in the win.

Josh Powell led the Mavericks with 14 points, while Kaniel Dickens netted 12.
