Chantelle Anderson done for season

San Antonio, TX (Basketball News) - San Antonio Silver Stars center Chantelle Anderson fractured the patella in her left knee during the team’s Friday night loss to the Washington Mystics.

Anderson is expected to miss the remainder of the 2006 season and undergo surgery to repair the fracture.

Anderson has started the last 20 games for San Antonio and is averaging 6.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
