Javaris Crittenton: Looks like he’ll be the Lakers PG of the future. He played very good in his debut, he shot 8-15 and scored 18 points, with 2 assist and 2 steals. He threw down a nice dunk and gave the Lakers a big boost.
Jordan Farmar: Played very poorly, and he could end up playing behind Crittenton in the future. Jordan had 7 turnovers, shot 1-8 and scored just 5 points. He had 1 assist and 1 steal. His head wasn’t in the game at all.
Coby Karl: George Karls son played solid in his debut. Shooting 4-7 scoring 10 points. He struggled a little bit defensively, but he played hard in 27 minutes of time.
Rodney White: The former top 10 pick, is still trying to shake off the "bust" label he’s carrying around. He played solid in 23 minutes of time shooting 4-8 and scoring 12 points with 3 rebounds. He still has to stand out more if he wants to make an NBA roster.
Al Thornton: Impressed in his debut. In 31 minutes of time he shot 7-18 and scored 24 points and getting 8 rebounds. He scored using a variety of moves, and he played with alot of energy. He did commit 7 personal fouls though.
Jared Jordan: Did what was expected of him. He ran the offense well, setting up teammates. In 26 minutes of time Jared had 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assist.
Curtis Sumpter: Played very good for just 15 minutes of time. He was 5-8 shooting and had 16 points with 6 rebounds. He played with passion and energy and showed why he was an all-american. If he plays like this all summer, he’ll find a spot on an NBA roster.
Nikoloz Tskitishvilli: Played well, but we’ve seen this from him before in previous summers, he has never been consistent. But in 24 minutes of time he shot 5-12 scoring 14 points and getting 7 rebounds and 3 assist.
Greg Oden: Was in foul trouble again this game, committing 9. He wasn’t effective getting his hot off and had 2 of them slammed back at him. Greg was 6-11 shooting and scored 13 points with 5 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Although he played better, it’s going to take him some time to develop a comfort level.
LaMarcus Aldridge: Continued to play well in game 2, almost posting up similar numbers as he did the other day. He shot 7-12, scoring 16 points and getting 11 rebounds with 3 blocked shots. He ran the floor well again, threw down some nice dunks, and hit some shots from 17 feet.
Caleb Green: The undraftee continued to show why he belongs on an NBA roster. He shot 6-6 and scored 13 points. He hustled and gave a lot of energy in 15 minutes of time. If he continues to play like this he’ll be a nice role player on the Mavs or another NBA team.
Yi Jianlian: Started out slow, than got hot. Although he only shot 3-11 from the field, he was 14 of 17 from the free throw line. He finished with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 8 personal fouls.
Shannon Brown: Has played outstanding the first two games. He was 11-16 shooting and scored 26 points with 3 assist. He showed a lot of energy, and a player that wanted the ball in his hands. He could be the next player out of summer league to have a great NBA season.
