I Think Kyle Lowry should be a bit higher on tht list. He was being handcuffed by hs own coaching staff. We all know Conley is their top pick and much like the college world where the coach’s recruited player gets more lip serivice than the guys who are doing their thing, because the coach and staff are more attentive to their legacy as decesion makers than to spreading the love. Kyle out played Conley in my eyes. He is more agressive as a playmaker (draw and kick and getting to the line) and a better defender. I like them both Conley is a better distributor, but I have to question why a guy who was getting so much praise on he court was benched in favor of getting Conley more time, when Kyle needs his time too. I’m done ranting about the politics of NBA staff egos. Kyle to me had a stronger summer league than Shannon Brown. They both did their thing, but Kyle was very agressive and changed the games more with his presence than a lot of guys that’s listed ahead of him. I understand why he was over looked, but I think his impact spoke louder than his stats, which were too bad either.. .

I think the Grizzles young squad has a chance to make some noise within the next few years, be on the look out for them. Pau Gasol, Darko Milicic, Rudy Gay, Mike Miller, Mike Conley Jr, Stromile Swift, Kyle Lowry, Hakim Warrick, Brian Cardinal, Tarence Kinsley, even if we keep mighty mouse a.k.a Damon Stoudamire. I think we’re one or two pieces away from making some noise in the West again. One thing we need is an agressive center who is athletic enough to fit in coacj Marc Iavaroni’s system. I’m excited about our future I really am! .

I agree Rudy showed alot of agressiveness on the court. He lacked that last year. He stepped his game up and was exciting to watch, I hope he continues during the season as well! .

I wanna send a shout to 2 Lakers that played well for their pro debuts. Good job Javaris Crittenton and Coby Karl. Javaris you looked like you’re aiming to take Jordan Farmars spot. Coby you’ve been through alot the last few months, plus you weren’t drafted and you still played very consistent and Lakers should reward you with a spot on the squad. .
