Sacramento, CA (Basketball News) - Carmelo Anthony netted 20 points to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 102-99 victory over the Sacramento Kings in exhibition action from ARCO Arena.

Voshon Lenard posted 16 points while Earl Boykins added 13 points for the Nuggets, who improved to 2-1 in the preseason.

Peja Stojakovic scored 18 points for the Kings. Brad Miller notched 17 points while Bonzi Wells netted 12. Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Kenny Thomas each posted 10 points in the losing effort.
