Bridgeport, CT (Basketball News) - Eddy Curry poured in 16 points in 13 minutes during his New York debut as the Knicks defeated New Jersey 93-84 in a preseason contest.
Trevor Ariza added 13 points and six rebounds while rookie Channing Frye scored 12 points for New York.
Marc Jackson netted a game-high 19 points off the bench and Richard Jefferson had 18 on 6-of-9 shooting in the loss.
Stephon Marbury, Allan Houston and Jerome James did not play for the Knicks.
