Harrison retires; Ceballos joins Mercury coaching staff

Phoenix, AZ (Basketball News) - Phoenix forward Lisa Harrison announced her retirement from the WNBA on Monday, as she will join the coaching staff of the Mercury for this season.

Harrison will be joined by former NBA All-Star forward Cedric Ceballos on head coach Carrie Staff’s staff. Ceballos will serve as a special assistant. Most of his duties will be confined to assisting at practices and consulting.

Harrison played in 161 games for the Mercury, averaging 6.8 points and 4.0 rebounds. She finished her career ranked second in franchise history in games, consecutive games (104), field goals (452) and rebounds (634). She ranked third in points with 1,084.
