Monarchs down Shock in finals rematch

Sacramento, CA (Basketball News) - Scholanda Robinson scored 13 points and the Sacramento Monarchs outlasted the Detroit Shock for a 85-75 victory in a rematch of last season’s WNBA finals.

Rebekkah Brunson added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Monarchs. Yolanda Griffith added 11 points for Sacramento.

Deanna Nolan poured in 23 points for Detroit, which defeated Sacramento in five games in last season’s championship series. Katie Smith scored 17 points for Detroit.
