(Basketball News) - The Charlotte Bobcats lost to the Phoenix Suns, 115-106, on Friday at America West Arena.

Brevin Knight scored 17 points and Primoz Brezec netted 16 for the Bobcats, who have dropped three straight contests. Keith Bogans and Kareem Rush each chipped in 15 points in the loss.

The Suns widened the gap to 79-66 on Shawn Marion’s basket early in the third and maintained a double-digit lead for the majority of the quarter. Phoenix eventually led 93-79 after three.

The Bobcats never seriously threatened in the fourth quarter and did not get any closer than seven points in the final period.

Charlotte returns to action on Sunday against the Golden State Warriors.
