(Basketball News) - The Bulls came up with a nice 94-85 win over the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre on Wednesday evening.
Eddy Curry scored 16 points to lead a balanced attack for the Bulls in the victory. Ben Gordon tallied 13 points off the bench, while Antonio Davis had 12 for the Bulls, who won their third straight game and eighth in a row over Toronto. The Bulls’ winning streak over Toronto is their longest against any team.
Othella Harrington chipped in 11 points in the win, and Tyson Chandler grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds to go with eight points.
Chicago’s Kirk Hinrich sat out with a strained left hamstring. Hinrich, who is posting 15.5 points and 6.7 assists (11th-NBA) per contest, is listed as day- to-day.
The Bulls shot a solid 46.8 percent from the field, including 3-of-11 (.273) from three-point range. Chicago also hit 19-of-25 (.760) from the free throw line.
Chicago currently sits sixth in the Eastern Conference, a half-game behind fifth place Cleveland and 1 1/2 contests in front of seventh place Indiana.
The Bulls are 22nd in the league in scoring (93.5 ppg), but sit just seventh in points allowed (93.5 ppg). Chicago leads the league in opponents’ field goal shooting (.421).
Chicago now has a day off before heading to Boston on Friday and then finishing up its weekly schedule against Indiana on Saturday at the United Center.
