=== Dallas Mavericks Team Report - January 15 ===

(Basketball News) - Michael Finley scored 32 points and buried a clutch free throw down the stretch, as the Dallas Mavericks held on for a 125-122 double- overtime win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday at American Airlines Center.

Dirk Nowitzki finished with 25 points and 14 rebounds for Dallas, which has won two straight after a two-game losing streak. Antawn Jamison scored 23 points off the bench in the win — Dallas’ third in a row versus Philly.

Antoine Walker posted his second consecutive triple-double for Dallas with 11 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists. He posted 14 points, 12 boards and 11 assists versus the Knicks on January 12.

Finley knocked down a short jumper to give Dallas a 119-116 lead with 2:12 left in the second overtime. Nowitzki then made 1-of-2 from the stripe for a four-point lead.

After a basket by Eric Snow pulled Philadelphia within two, the Sixers tied the game at 120 on a pair of free throws by Robinson with 41.8 seconds remaining. Nowitzki kept plugging away and gave the Mavs a 122-120 edge on a 15-foot jump shot with 24.1 seconds to go.

Samuel Dalembert was then hacked and made 1-of-2 from the line to pull the Sixers within one. Best was then immediately fouled and made both shots for a 124-121 score. With 8.0 seconds left, Snow made 1-of-2 free throws for a two-point game. Dallas sealed the win after Finley made one foul shot for a 125-122 lead.

Walker has 15 career triple-doubles, while Finley was 14-of-32 from the field.

The Mavs are off until Friday when they visit rookie phenom Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets. The teams have already met twice this season, as each club won on its homecourt.
