Hornets try to sting Kings at ARCO 02.5.2007

This is the second meeting of the campaign between the clubs. On January 26th, Desmond Mason had 24 points and eight rebounds as the Hornets knocked off the Kings, 88-84, at New Orleans Arena.
The Hornets have lost 10 straight at Sacramento. The last time the Hornets defeated the Kings on the road was on January 12, 1997.
Sacramento plays the middle contest of a three-game homestand. Kevin Martin scored 28 points, as the Kings made it two wins in a row with a 94-87 win over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday at ARCO Arena. Denver has lost 20 straight at Sacramento. The last time the Nuggets won in Sacramento was on January 7, 1997.
Ron Artest posted 21 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Denver for the Kings, who have won two in a row after a three-game losing streak. Brad Miller scored 12 points, and Mike Bibby and Corliss Williamson both netted 10 in the victory.
The Kings, who have won three in a row at ARCO Arena, are 13-11 at home this season. They will host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.
New Orleans/Oklahoma City plays the second of a three-game road trip. Devin Brown led a balanced scoring attack with 18 points as the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets bested the Houston Rockets, 87-74, at the Toyota Center.
Chris Paul, Jannero Pargo and Bobby Jackson all scored 12 points for the Hornets, who have won two straight and five of their last six games overall. Tyson Chandler added 11 points and 12 rebounds for New Orleans/Oklahoma City, which outrebounded Houston 49-36.
The Hornets are 7-15 on the road this season. They are scheduled to visit the Nuggets on Wednesday at the Pepsi Center.
