(Basketball News) - Yao Ming finished with 25 points and 17 rebounds and blocked the final shot of the game to lead the Houston Rockets to a 90-89 overtime win over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday at the Toyota Center.
Steve Francis posted 17 points and nine assists and Cuttino Mobley contributed 17 points and seven rebounds for the Rockets, who earned their second straight victory.
Houston is in seventh place in the Western Conference playoff race, 2 1/2 games behind the sixth-place Dallas Mavericks.
Yao posted his 29th double-double of the season for the Rockets, who improved to 26-11 at home this season.
The Rockets are off until Friday when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies. It will be the fourth and final meeting between the two squads. Houston is 1-2 against the Grizzlies.
Francis has scored in double digits in 13 straight games. He has averaged 18 points and 6.9 assists in his last 10 contests.
