Miami Heat Team Report - March 29 03.29.2004
|
(Basketball News) - The Miami Heat continue their push towards the postseason this evening when they welcome the lowly Chicago Bulls to AmericanAirlines Arena.
The Heat’s playoff push was stalled a bit on Sunday, as they found themselves on the wrong end of a 87-80 decision against the Eastern Conference-leading Indiana Pacers.
Eddie Jones, Dwyane Wade and Caron Butler all chipped in 14 points for the Heat, who had their season-high seven-game winning streak snapped and lost for just the second time in their last 12 games.
Miami has won eight in a row at home - reaching at least the century mark in six of those contests - and is 25-12 in its arena this season.
Chicago has lost twice already this season to the Heat and has dropped seven of eight and nine of the last 11 meetings. The Bulls have also lost eight in a row and 11 of their last 13 in South Florida.
