Ogden, UT (Basketball News) - Coric Riggs scored 17 points, including the game- winning lay up with one second remaining in the contest to give the Weber State Wildcats a thrilling 57-55 victory over the Sacramento State Hornets in a Big Sky Conference tilt.

Lance Allred poured in a game-high 24 points and collected 14 rebounds for Weber State (9-14,4-7 BSC).

Jason Harris and Alex Bausley both netted 11 points for Sacramento (8-15, 4-6), while DaShawn Freeman chipped in 10 points.

Behind a 47.6 percent shooting effort from the field in the opening frame, the Wildcats went into the break with a 27-24 lead.

Weber State netted 12-of-19 shots from the foul line in the second stanza en route to the two-point victory.

The Wildcats netted 16-of-26 shots from the foul line, while the Hornets connected on 11-of-17 shots from the charity stripe.
