NBA Game Summary - Orlando at Houston

Houston, TX (Basketball News) - Tracy McGrady, playing against his former team, scored a game-high 20 points and Yao Ming netted 19, as the Houston Rockets edged the Orlando Magic, 84-80, in an exhibition game at the Toyota Center.

Jon Barry and Luther Head, a first-round pick in this year’s draft, added 12 points apiece for the Rockets, who are 2-0 in the preseason.

Houston made 8-of-15 three-point attempts with McGrady hitting all three of his shots from beyond the arc.

Steve Francis and Keyon Dooling posted 12 points each for the Magic, who fell to 1-1 in exhibition games. Francis, who also added six assists, was traded from the Rockets to Orlando in the deal for McGrady during the 2004 offseason.
