Seattle, WA (Basketball News) - Raja Bell had 26 points and seven rebounds to lead the Phoenix Suns over the Seattle SuperSonics, 114-113, at KeyArena.
James Jones added 18 points and Shawn Marion had 12 points and nine boards for the Suns. Leandro Barbosa tallied 13 points with seven assists for Phoenix, which played without an ill Steve Nash.
Also noticeably absent was forward Amare Stoudemire, who will miss up to four months after undergoing surgery on his left knee on Tuesday.
Ray Allen had a game-high 28 points for the Sonics. Allen shot 10-of-20 from the floor, going 3-of-9 from three-point range. Rashard Lewis had 19 points and Luke Ridnour added 18 points and 10 assists.
