Mercury explode all over Sky

Penny Taylor notched 21 points and grabbed 10 boards for the Mercury, who snapped a three-game skid. Cappie Pondexter added 18 points and six boards.

Chasity Melvin recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Sky, who fell to 3-4. Candice Dupree, the club’s leading scorer, was held to six points in defeat.

Phoenix led by 10 at the half and held off Chicago the rest of the way.
