Dallas Mavericks Team Report - April 15

(Basketball News) - Marquis Daniels had 21 points, eight rebounds and handed out seven assists to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 92-89 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday at the Toyota Center in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Antawn Jamison scored 18 points and Michael Finley chipped in 16 for the Mavericks (52-30), who closed out the regular season on a two-game winning streak.

Dallas enters the playoffs as the Western Conference’s fifth seed and will play Sacramento in the first round. These two teams also met in last year’s conference semifinals with the Mavericks prevailing in seven games.

The Mavericks and Kings play the first game of the best-of-seven series on Sunday at ARCO Arena.
