|
(Basketball News) - Dallas lost its first game at home Thursday, as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Mavericks, 114-103, at American Airlines Center.
Steve Nash scored 30 points and had eight assists for Dallas, which had its two-game winning streak halted. Antoine Walker added 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Mavericks, who are still 10-1 at home.
Dallas played without forward Dirk Nowitzki for the fourth straight game as the All-Star continues to be bothered by a sprained right ankle.
Prior to last night, the Mavericks had won 13 straight home games dating back to last season.
The Mavs are off until Saturday when they host the brutal Orlando Magic.
