(Basketball News) - Toni Kukoc scored 17 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to their 10th straight home win, a come-from-behind 86-83 triumph over the New Jersey Nets on Thursday at the Bradley Center.
Michael Redd scored 15 points and rookie T.J Ford posted eight points to go along with nine assists for Milwaukee, which won for the seventh time in eight games.
"It’s a huge win for us," Milwaukee coach Terry Porter said. "This is the team that went to the finals, it’s supposed to be one of the elite teams in the East. We’ve been able to beat them twice, and more importantly, continue this home streak to ten games now."
The Bucks have now won 10 in a row at home for the first time since February 17 to March 22 of 1988.
"We feel confident, home has been good to us so far," said Redd. "If we can do the same thing on the road, we can be a heck of a team."
Milwaukee’s all-time home winning streak is 24 games, which was achieved in 1985 from February 12 to November 30.
The Bucks are off until Saturday when they host Ben Wallace and the Detroit Pistons.
