’Must-See’ NBA Game For November 6th: Carmelo Anthony, Marcus Camby, Allen Iverson, & Denver Nuggets Versus N.Y. Knicks

November 06 07
Each day during the 2007-8 season, HoopsVibe The Blog will highlight one ‘Must-See’ NBA game. The ‘Must-See’ game is our pick as the day’s best match-up.

Of course, we’re tuning in to all the day’s action and want to know what games interest you, so hit us up in the comment box below with your NBA plans for this evening.

NBA schedule for November 6th 2007
  • Phoenix @ Charlotte
  • Atlanta @ New Jersey
  • Denver @ N.Y. Knicks
  • Toronto @ Milwaukee
  • Orlando @ Minnesota
  • L.A. Clippers @ Chicago
  • San Antonio @ Houston
  • Seattle @ Sacramento
  • Cleveland @ Golden State
  • New Orleans @ L.A. Lakers
Our pick as ’Must-See’ game: Denver @ N.Y. Knicks.

Why: Most NBA fans believe the league’s best trio plays in Boston or San Antonio. The Celtics can roll-out Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce, while the Spurs have won several NBA Titles with Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker.

But don’t sleep-on Denver’s big three: Carmelo Anthony, Marcus Camby, and Allen Iverson. These players form the Nuggets’ core and entertain with athleticism, quickness, and skill.

Many analysts, including the ’wise’ Charles Barkley, believe Denver will contend because of their talented trio. This evening, they’re facing New York in our ’Must-See’ game of the night.

The Knicks are interesting-and we’re not referring to the James Dolan-Isiah Thomas fiasco. This summer, they acquired Zach Randolph to play with Eddy Curry down-low. Some, like New York point guard Stephon Marbury, love the trade.

Others aren’t so optimistic, thinking Z-Bo and Curry will eventually clash because they both need touches. So far, the Knicks have been at their best when Randolph or Curry plays next to blue-collar post David Lee.

Does Denver have the NBA’s best big three? Is New York big enough for Randolph and Curry? Get at us in the comment box below with your thoughts.

well sure, they are talented......but they just arent title contenders. It’s just that simple. There’s not one "simple" player on that denver team, nor on that NY team. They’re all tattooed, scorehungry guys on both team (well, most of them...). Except david lee and marcus, not to many are willing to give up touches. AI will never win a ’chip if he stays on teams like this. Too bad, cause they are extremely talented. PS: Knicks get routed , AI scores 30 and carmelo scores 29. Greetings Belgian Guy .
