Miami, FL (Basketball News) - Antoine Walker scored a season-high 32 points and also pulled down eight rebounds, as the Miami Heat overcame the absence of Dwyane Wade to post a 106-97 victory over the Toronto Raptors.
Wade missed the game due to the flu, but Shaquille O’Neal took matters into his own hands, posting just his second career triple-double with 15 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists. O’Neal’s only other triple-double came way back on November 12, 1993.
Derek Anderson added 17 points for Miami, while Gary Payton and Udonis Haslem both contributed 15 points in the victory.
The Raptors, losers of nine straight games, were led by Mike James’ 32 points. James became the first Raptor to ever score 30 or more points in four consecutive games.
Morris Peterson added 23 points for Toronto, while Darrick Martin came off the bench to chip in 13 points. Matt Bonner tallied 10 points.
