Carter returns to the lineup

Atlanta, GA (Basketball News) - New Jersey Nets guard Vince Carter is expected to start Monday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks, after injuring his right hamstring on Sunday.

Carter left Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers in the first quarter after sustaining a cramp in the hamstring. He played almost nine minutes and scored four points.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound All-Star is averaging 23.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game this season.
