Charlotte Bobcats Team Report - December 8

(Basketball News) - The Charlotte Bobcats lost to the Sacramento Kings, 109-92, on Tuesday at ARCO Arena.

Steve Smith totaled 16 points off the bench for Charlotte, which lost in double overtime to the Clippers on Monday and is still searching for its first road victory in the franchise’s brief existence. Emeka Okafor tallied 10 points and 15 boards in the losing effort. The Bobcats are 3-4 in their last seven overall.

The Bobcats shot just 38 percent from the floor and lost the battle on the glass, 53-45.

Smith has scored in double-digits in three straight games. He is averaging 15.7 points in that span.

Charlotte is off until Friday when it visits Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. The tams will meet once again on March 23rd at Charlotte.
