=== Chicago Bulls Team Report - March 14 ===

(Basketball News) - The Bulls’ recent hot streak came to an end on Sunday, as they fell 83-78 to the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.

Eddy Curry paced the Bulls with 19 points. Kirk Hinrich added 16 points and Ben Gordon chipped in 14 off the bench for the Bulls, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

Curry has moved into a tie with Hinrich for Chicago’s top scorer with 15.6 points per contest. Gordon isn’t far behind with 14.7 points per game. Hinrich is also the team’s leader in assists with 6.7 per contest.

The Bulls struggled from the field in the contest, hitting just 34.4 percent of their shots. Chicago hit 8-of-22 (.364) from three-point range and 8-of-10 (.800) from the free throw line.

The Clippers outrebounded the Bulls, 49-46, in the winning effort. Chicago also committed 14 turnovers in the contest.

Bulls rookie forward Luol Deng missed his sixth straight game because of a sprained right ankle. Deng will be out indefinitely.

Chicago has not been one of the best scoring teams in the league this season (93.5 ppg), but it also is limiting foes to just 93.6 points per contest (6th). Opponents are shooting just 42.3 percent (2nd) from the field against them.

Following a day off, the Bulls return to the court for four games in five days. Chicago will begin the stretch at home against Seattle Tuesday before traveling to New Jersey on Wednesday. The Bulls will close out their week against New Orleans (Friday) at home and Philadelphia (Saturday) on the road.
